Advisor costs

Hi all I've just been told by my planner that the cost of my application will rise from €150 to €500. Our land area doesn't change and I realise that there is a different application to be made this year, he said that you can't just select no change like other years. Is this in the ball park for what other people are being charged?

Sorry yes my application for the new BISS what was BPS.

What is the ballpark for that work? In fairness to him he hasn't raised the price on me for 5/6 years.

I know a neighbors is gone from 100 to 150. It only a small place. I'm not sure what teagasc are doing.

Your planner has not raised the price in the past years because I presume it was only a case of clicking ok a few times. I would query the 500 though. Maybe your new plan needs a lot of work.

I wouldn't have though so it's pretty much the same set up as last year so I can't see why it would change the fee that much. Thanks for the replies I will see if I can get him down a bit.

I havent even looked at the CRISS application yet on line, is it that much different to other years? I would guess if there is no change in your land area then it should be fairly straight forward. I had a look the suckler cow one (SCEP) and its basically just tick the box saying yes I want to apply and I would assume this would be the same as that is the way they are all gone lately.
