Eir 4G and 5G broadband

When I was into support earlier to ask questions an agent told me that a coverage check for 4G and 5G broadband was not possible. I said that couldn’t be true because Rural WiFi could check coverage and that I was looking at coverage map (although it was responding when I searched for a location.

She then asked was there “anything else that she could help with” and ended the chat before I could respond.

So I see your point.

I was hoping she wasn’t representative of the whole department or the reliability of the technology.

I didn’t think of it when first posting or even when I mentioned Rural WiFi above but i with Rural WiFi last year and the they use the Three and Vodafone networks and SIMs - it was great at first but even became unreliable in steaming quality and often wouldn’t even connect to the network.

So I think maybe I’m just stuck with the building’s WiFi.
