    Story of his season though, and especially for FF - when you compare him to other players in his price category - for a player to be so called a great - his last hattrick was nearly 6 years ago,

    Haaland is a must have at 12.0 with 203 points.

    Kane is cheaper at 11.7 and has 187 points. "So called great". Kane is having a great season in FPL terms. He's the 2nd highest scorer!

    Kane is having a fantastic season in a pretty average team.

    He’s on target to hit somewhere around 250 points which is pretty incredible scoring really.

    He hasn’t been explosive at all, typically scores 6-9 every week but he does it every single week which there’s a lot to be said for.

    Also given the fact Haaland is basically an auto cap every week it makes Kanes steady output a great asset in your team.

    When you’re not captaining him anyway it makes no difference if in 2 weeks he gets 7&7 instead of 2&12.

    I replied to a poster who said he could have had a hatrick - but in reality he hasn’t had one for near 6 years, and it’s unlikely he will hit one the way he plays.

    I’d reckon PP would give you better odds of Rashford getting a hat trick than Kane this season in any given game and he’s not even on penalties.

    You don’t have to get a hat trick to score points in FF!

    Think Kane probably isn’t really a captain option but think he’s worth his place in every squad, especially given budget isn’t really an issue this season.

    After Klopp's comments on Saturday and today's team sheet. He must be seriously pissed off at them. Saturday was the first time in memory I've heard him publicly give out about his players. He always tends to shoulder the blame and protect his players instead.

    I personally don't believe the VVD illness cover up. I'd say there was a bust up there.

    It might be because Salah is fasting now.

    A long time to go without eating or drinking for a night time kick off. Saturday was an early kick so maybe more manageable.


    I can't see a tactical / performance reason why Salah would be dropped.
