Clubs stolen - best places to keep an eye on to see if they might be offered for sale?

Hi. My mum had her golf clubs lifted from outside the clubhouse earlier this week. The golf bag was in her trolley - they unzipped the cover, took all the clubs, then zipped it up again so she only discovered the loss when lifting the bag into her car. She's understandably a bit shocked.

I have the details of her set. Am keeping an eye on adverts and done deal - is there anywhere else online that they might be offered up for sale?

It would be nice to sting them.

That's an absolute rotten thing to happen, sorry to hear. At least you have a car reg for the Guards.

Without naming the club - what county / area did this happen? Would make you think twice about leaving your clubs outside the clubhouse now.

i got an email from Castleknock the other day about this happening last week where somebody had left their clubs left the front door.

not sure if it's same instance as OP, but either way, its rotten.

would insurance even compensate you for the likes of this, leaving your clubs unattended out in the open and not a sinner around?

bet you do when you get yourself ready, stroll up to club, go into shop and sign in, leave clubs outside the door... or do you bring them in with you? 😮

thieves are opportunist, it only takes a minute. sickening behaviour

Wouldn't think there's much premium for aftermarket for clubs anyway?

Most people get fitted now in some way and the clubs are personal to them.

I'd say less than 10% of clubs purchased are fitted. The 2nd hand market in Golf is absolutely huge
