I doesn't say he's going to be 'Senior' coach. I wonder what the actual hierarchy will be.

RTE interview with Will Connors. He's doing a PHD in data science when he's not training with Leinster.

Not enough that he's a world class athlete the talented dickhead.

Surprised and my initial feeling was that I didn't this at all when the notification popped up on my phone but much happier having heard that interview from Leo.

If his remit is on defense and another experienced new voice in the room I think it can be very solid, especially alongside the news that they're keeping the rest of the coaching ticket together - low risk of this being a MOC situation, even if Nienaber doesn't work.

Complete trust that the Leinster leadership to get this right.

Replacing Lancaster like for like was never really going to happen. So a reshuffle slightly and a defence coach like Nienaber is a pretty amazing addition IMO.

    Jaysus Vakh

I didn't know he could do that

    Bloody hell.

Also, that's a great pass from Prendergast to put Abdaladze through.

The Lions tight head is a real prop forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Lions have kicked two restarts dead in a row, putting themselves under huge pressure.

Unfortunate knock on from Barron. Need to be scoring those though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinster been pretty poor since scoring. Multiple handling errors and missed tackles.

Leinster have fallen apart since scoring, terrible hands and defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,163 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

    And Sean O'Brien's.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Tommy O'Brien has been a demon in defence. Huge ruck clearance earlier in the game and now a breakdown turnover.

Will Connors tackling is a thing of beauty.

Barron has made yet another mistake and this one was costly

    Nightmare few minutes for Barron

Leinster at fault again for a Lions score. The Lions player did well to finish it.

Leinster need to get scores for the visits to the Lions 22.

Much better by Leinster. Deegan unlucky off the base of the scrum being held up but good play and hands after the goal line drop out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Lots of errors from Leinster, but when they click they're carving through Lions. Excellent sequence of play starting from that strong Deegan carry off the base of the scrum.

Catch the restart then go through the phases by drawing and passing until a gap opens up.

A lovely try from the Lions. Lovely hands.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Very unusual for Leinster to miss this many tackles.

Seems like the players are gassed.

    Dreadful defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

Leinster look spent before half time

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,043 ✭✭✭SaoPaulo41

Did Barron go off injured or was he just hooked ? He had a poor game as is Nick McCarthy

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,300 ✭✭✭MaybeMaybe

Couldn't tackle a wet paper bag
