Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gotta drag Myself outta bed as i need to sleep again in the afternoon. I hate nights and I really hate nights with massive thunderstorms and rain, too much unpredictability. Waiting patiently for the dreaded summer temperatures of 50 degrees and clear blue skies.

Joe Biden hysteria!! The past few days you can't get away from it. Really think RTE are going overboard with the exposure. It's like the Queen's funeral.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,997 ✭✭✭Princess Calla

To be fair , I'm not into the royal family at all....well I enjoy their scandals 😂🤣

However the Queens funeral is probably a once in a lifetime event (though I'd say we'll have a kings one in the not so distant future) so I didn't mind the coverage of that at all.

Presidents are replaced every 4/8 years. Meh to watching his every movement.

I did post in what I thought was current affairs giving out about the coverage but unfortunately it was the aviation one. I wouldn't say the airplane ethusiasts were impressed with me.

Watching the President Joe Biden shindig and speech in Ballina. Didn’t realise RTÉ was making his visit into a full on show of programmes!

Apparently the Brits are rather miffed over Biden being in Ireland for 4 days and less than 24 hours in the North. 🙄🙄😁

Just back from a trip to Cork. Parents were 60 years married today and we had a lovely meal with them and my siblings and their families ( even though half of them hate each other but that's irish families 😁😁)....

Oh for a bit of sense. I spent far too long working in the garden today and know I’ll pay for it.

Need to remind myself how very old these bones are. But I did a great job weeding and planting.

    Hot bath and bed await.

Watching Abyss ,the rise and fall of the nazi's . Its amazing how he completely outflanked the German political elite of the time . He's been shown to be a very astute politician though, obviously an evil bastard

Trying to work my way through 101 online training modules, it’s funny how one weeks in class training on companies dime, has evolved into about 50 hours of online training on my time :):)

Was watching videos last night of the Airbus A330 aircraft burning in Khartoum, and seeing pictures of some disheveled looking colleagues dumped in the airport. They are going to have a hard time getting back.

‘Looking at Sudan, it’s a country that appears to have nothing, quite amazing that people continuously fight over that nothingness.

Afternoon everyone. I haven't been on Boards and this parish for the longest time. Lots of your news to catch up on. I hadn't been too well and work place shenanigans ongoing.... It is so toxic.

Anyway I am enjoying the weather today and spring giving me a bit of pep. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday....

A dull and misty day here today, thought we were going to have a warm, sunny one. Dragged ourselves out for a walk but dressing gown and hot water bottle time now, can't stop eating all day, would love chipper but too tired to go out again.....Monday again tomorrow. F U lotto gods.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,412 ✭✭✭thomil

Lovely pics, Jupiter. On first reading I actually thought "that's a nice house he's got there".

Grey and dull down here today, but surprisingly mild. Was out nd about in town, got myself a new pair of shoes. Homeside now, winding down and getting ready for another manic work week.

Oh, and just got an invite to my twenty-year school reunion!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

    Good morning everyone 🙂

Hope everything's okay, cj. Let me know if there's anything, or anyone, us wherers can take care of for you. I hear Mam and a few others have some experience in that regard 😉

Deskside in the office here. We have some bigwigs over from HQ so it's currently mandatory work from the office time for everyone. Don't mind really, I like our office.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!
