to be honest he is a serious talent , can play anywhere , kicks off both feet and scores 3 to 4 points a game , he is deffinatly the closest to brennan we have seen

to be fair you have summarized perfectly division 2 football over the last 7 years that we occupied the division , we did everything right to preserve that status up until the last 20 minutes against kildare . at times we lived a charmed life but we survived in years past , it caught up with us this year and it shouldn't have especially with 4 home games , i know you probably disagree but ithink we will be back up shortly enough we have a nice group of players coming through for this level

totally agree with our full back line them boys are excellent , they even add more to our attack then most of our middle 3rd , the defencive structure was always good and brian carson is the man to thank there ,

keelan is a top forward but loses his head at times , if he keeps his feet on the floor hes one of the top inside forwards in the country his point midway through the 2nd half was top class as was his first , podge kicked a super score too

the last score highlights what we should be doing more , attacking at pace , we can be seriously dangerous when we move the ball fast rather then going over and back the field for 20 or 30 phases of possession

excellent week down in waterford for the minor and u20 hurlers and minor footballers ,

minor hurlers look to be progressing well , a bad night in limerick has been rectified by a hard fought win last night in the fraher , another super performance by michael o connell with 4 points from play , young gunning from broadford and sheedy from the bridge look like really good prospects going forward

little between the minor footballers in lemybrien thrusday night in open play but efficiency in front of goal was top class and was a huge difference , clare out scored waterford 3-11 to 0-4 points from open play , gearoid barry kicked 2-2 from play while darragh townsand from cooraclare looked excellent kicking 0-3 points from play , waterford worked hard but lacked in front of goal

but the result and performance of the week was on thursday night when the u20s defeated the home side 2-26 to 0-18 in the fraher , sennan dunford a man with huge waterford confections was excellent for us , big strong forward hard to mark scored 2-1-03 from play and set up the keith smyth goal

smyth is looking like a really good free taker too , jack oneill and sean rynne had huge games in the middle of the park , adam hogan was solid on patrick fitzgerld keeping him to just one point from play , goalkeeper aaron shannahan looked solid also

the more direct style of hurling also seemed to suit our lads too , a much more similar looking terance fahey side from the short handpassing tactics in the limerick game , big game now against cork if we are to guarantee a place in the latter stages of the championship
