How to buy American CDs?

Being fond of holding a physical album in my hand, I prefer to buy CDs or vinyl rather than downloads. I'm quite fond of American folk/Americana but recordings aren't generally available in Europe. Does anyone know of an importer of specialist American CDs or if there's an easy and reasonably priced way of getting them?

Check Amazon.com if they will post here, once it's fulfilled by Amazon all taxes are taken care of.

You could make your own cd copy from a lossless format download like flac format buy a pack of blank cds . I am kind of going down that route now thanks to youtube i bought a hifi vcr to record my cds to vhs hifi as its just below cds in audio reproduction which we all lost listening to mp3 on our phone. Excuse my ignorance but why would you record your CDs to VHS hifi if it's below CDs in terms of audio performance. Then, what are you using to actually listen to the audio? As in, what is the VHS player hooked up to?

I have a proper hifi setup that the vhs player is plugged into it sounds great as i had aload of vhs tapes lying around i wanted to try it the reason to try it is in analog ( tape format ) quality of the tape can affect the sound produced along with the player its played on like i said digital is only a storage format & has to be converted to analog to play it . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik4yjuX8sng

I've done that a couple of times. However, I'm one of these people who likes to get the booklet or to read the notes on the sleeves. Plus you get photos too. Downloads are good if all else fails.

One drawback with Amazon.com - they're using flimsy packaging for orders outside USA. My last three orders (BD and CD box sets) have come with dented sleeves and gouges. Might be ok if it's just single CDs in jewel cases but they may get cracked.
