2 different herds in the same shed

Is it possible or allowed to keep to different herds within the same shed. Say a four bay double , would it be ok to keep the herds on each separate side of the shed?

Big no no I’m afraid.There not allowed share the same air space even if in separate sides

There was an option that if one of the herds became restricted, both of them would be restricted . We had this when my dad's herd number and mine were both active. That could be an option or maybe that's been done away with

That got me a big fine here one time. I was completely offside and had to put the hands up and take it.

Asked about this a few years ago told it wasn't an option (beef cattle ) Yet there is a different rule for contract reading I was told
