Send them out my way, I couldn't care less if they're on the nearby green.

However they're probably staying outside those offices in the hope they'll be dealt with quicker.

I know crazy right. And the only person arrested was Stephen Bedford. Go figure. Must be all those locals again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,108 ✭✭✭✭Thelonious Monk

This forum for years detested the inner city dubs who got "free houses never worked and wore pyjamas all day" and other such rhetoric. It's gas how these people are now their working class heroes. Some of the same posters too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Nobody's punching down on anyone. The people last night are objectively nasty idiots and scumbags. If it's a coincidence that the scrots are "working class" or not I don't know. Whatever class they are, they bring shame to it and need to have a chat with themselves. It's that or they escalate and the cops and justice system start dealing with things in a more firm manner.

The immediate "remedy" is for these characters to push the grey matter coming out of their nose back in, go home, and cease causing public order events and committing acts of violence and intimidation.

I agree, that's why the illegal swinging a bar was arrested and also in possession of a samurai sword. But hey let's do mental gymnastics and blame everybody else.

    Think it's called cognitive dissonance.

I thought the "only person arrested was Stephen Bedford". Whoever Stephen Bedford is.

  • Registered Users Posts: 57 ✭✭It wasnt me

Go do your research. If you want to keep sprouting nonsense, the above individual was the only person arrested last night. Facts are facts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Good to see you admitting you give zero sh*ts about neither inner city communities or asylum seekers. It's a start I suppose.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,108 ✭✭✭✭Thelonious Monk

Well I do live in coolock and one of the thugs there last night was kevin coyle from coolock so I doubt they'd have a great time around here either even though there's one or two libtards like myself in the area

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Cops could have stood to arrest far more people last night. Gloves will come off soon enough.

Who knew nonsense could be sprouted? Is it above or below spouting on the sliding scale?

Letting in economic migrants and allowing them to go into the asylum system is madness from the government.

Is there no one with some common sense in the dáil?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,108 ✭✭✭✭Thelonious Monk

Where are the welcoming communities? I thought posh people would lawyer up and get rid of them

  • Registered Users Posts: 57 ✭✭It wasnt me

Arrested for what? Standing in the street exchanging a choice of words with a bunch of goons who helped build a camp on private property. Imagine that, you should record yourself.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck it's generally a duck.

Stephen Bedford was the only scumbag arrested last night. No other scumbags. Fixed your post for you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,736 ✭✭✭Augme

Plenty of people like you speak like that about migrants.

Plenty of solutions, lock up the montcler brigade and turf them out of their free houses until they get a job and stop spending all their time robbing and assaulting people.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Oh yeah, real pillars of the community last night. Look at the state of these scrots. With apologies for a PBP Twitter link (no affiliation), but if having watched this and you have failed to conclude these are scumbags issuing threats, you need to have a word with yourself.

These f*ckwits are a public order threat with violence bubbling under the surface. That the cops failed to be present when the burning of the camp took place is a failure of policing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,108 ✭✭✭✭Thelonious Monk

You've been making your point that posh people won't like them in their neighbourhood for ages now. We get it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,736 ✭✭✭Augme

You're falling yo grasp the far reaching and wider benefits of removing the inner city scum from that area though. Crime rates would plummet in city centre - tourists would feel safer, honest hard working people would feel safer going into town ams spending money etc. Business would return to the area, office blocks as well. It would be a rejuvenation.

Letting the inner city scum dictate how things should operate in that area is ridiculous. But that's the problem, soft people like you who think the poor moncler brigade need an arm around the shoulder and a hug and how it's society fault they are scumbags.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

I'd bet a score if some Garda vetting forms were handed out last night we'd find some interesting priors among the rabble.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,736 ✭✭✭Augme

@SaltedSheker there's are your mates in the video. What a honourable bunch they seem to be. Are you in it actually? If not, you must have been gutted you couldn't attend.

  • Registered Users Posts: 57 ✭✭It wasnt me

You see the difference between you and me is. I don't give a shiny s*** about either faction. Again your peddling misinformation. I deal with facts. The GARDAI allowed the dismantling of the camp after the illegals and unwashed where escorted up to trinity college,so read this to yourself out loud,NOBODY was present on site when the illegals camp on private property was dismantled and set on fire, and again an individual who i might add, was arrested and a samurai sword and blades removed from said sight.

Failure of policing is right. This individual and his like should be deported.

I posted a video of scumbags issuing threats, and as predicted, you failed to identify them as scumbags issuing threats - which they objectively are.

There's no misinformation, your brain failed to process what you watched. You're on a backpeddle now cribbing "you don't give a sh*t about either faction" when you were so excercised only moments ago only planting the label of scumbag somewhere away from these toerags.

Go on, try to give it the slip again and not admit the scrots in that video aren't scumbags issuing threats.

The point rather being, Turkey has a habit of labelling anyone and everyone who is a political dissident a terrorist. He's a politically active Kurd, if you had the faintest idea about Turkey, you'd know he's a prime candidate for politcal asylum. The Turkish government calling someone a terrorist means the sum root of f*ckall.

I have limited insight into his status in Sweden, Ireland or elsewhere. But I do know that Sweden is applying for NATO, and there is a genuine fear that politcally active Kurds there (there is a large community in Sweden) will be shopped and extradited to Turkey in exchange for Ankara assenting to Swedish membership.

"Stephen Bedford was the only scumbag arrested last night. No other scumbags. Fixed your post for you."

Something wrong with you?? Back peddling??? I see scum on both sides I also see scum trying to harbour an individual who was arrested for having a sword in position. Its quite easy to understand, those are the facts just you seem to be slow on the uptake of what's pointed out to you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,736 ✭✭✭Augme

Where's the slander? You've spent the last few hours defending the actions of the anti-immigrant protestrs. You clearly agree with what they are doing. So I was curious if you were there yourself or if you are just supporting them from the comfort of behind your keyboard.

  • Registered Users Posts: 322 ✭✭sonar44

Don't recall this working out too well for our traveller friends in the past.

It's just a discussion. Something more important is bound to come along.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,736 ✭✭✭Augme

You made the statement that criticising them was "punching down on the working class.". Those poor working class people in the video being punched down on, your heart obviously bleeds for them. Surprised you weren't there to provide moral support to those working class heros you are so concerned about.

I agree people tend to use the terms refugee and asylum seeker interchangeably, without understanding the difference. Let me help you there. An asylum Seeker is someone seeking asylum (clue is in the title), or Refugee status to give it another name. Once someone has been granted status then they are a refugee and no longer an asylum seeker. If their claim is rejected (and they are not given an alternative permission to remain) then they are also no longer an asylum seeker. They could then be accurately described as illegal in the State and would be subject to a Deportation Order. To qualify for refugee status you must be fleeing persecution on account of your race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership of a social group (e.g LGBT in the current parlance.) If you don’t reach the threshold for Refugee status you may qualify for Subsidiary Protection, for which you must be in danger of of facing serious harm if returned to your home country. Serious harm is defined as death penalty, torture or inhuman and degrading punishment, or indiscriminate violence to a situation of international or internal armed conflict. Natural disasters or economic circumstances are not a basis for being granted. If you don’t qualify for either protection stream you are then assessed to see if there is any other humanitarian reason why you should be allowed remain (most commonly this would be family links - e.g you have a child here) Fail this leg and you get a Deportation Order. This is known as the single procedure and was introduced in the 2015 International Protection Act in an attempt to streamline the procedure.

It's actually a pretty civil discussion here given the hot topic! Let's hope it all gets sorted soon.

There you go! It’s a great idea! Sure of course there will probably be a couple of 100 or more men there by the end of the month but the green areas in these parts of Dublin are pretty extensive and very well maintained (funnily enough) so it will just be a question of bringing more portaloos and portable showers and bins .

The real great idea in this, is arresting the sh*t out of people issuing threats from behind masks and burning people out of their last resort shelter.

Give them a real taste of unvetted males of military age in the Joy.
