Whatever way you deal with it, train her up in a yard or small paddock before you let her back.

We'd a cow who used to be running under polywire before and we rigged up a head collar with an aerial made up of wire with a bend on top. Once she was trained up and had got a few good shocks there was no more of it.

Those fence posts DON'T work at all and they're certainly not heavy duty. They'd bend if a bird landed on them, and the stays fall off quickly. I'd say they're made out of ring pulls recycled and put together over a gas ring.

I was wondering why I'd no shock on a polywire with a battery fence and sure enough they were earthing. If I use one for the earth clip of the battery, above the insulation break, I've fine shock.

I'll have to return them now.
