also, when policing is sold to football clubs, it is essentially selling the police to private businesses and their wealthy owners, but it's by law.

the tax payer doesn't pay for the costs of policing football.

The police working at football matches is them fulfilling their public safety duties. Protecting one person isn't.

It's just not something you hear about every decade that a paparazzi chase goes on for 2 full hours.

We know the paparazzi are a shower of planks but that doesn't make any new allegation automatically true.

And "near catastrophic" just sounds like an awfully strange way to describe it.

Pull over, lock the doors, call the cops who will be there in under 3 minutes if it's NYC.

Tell the trio in the back to put their heads down to avoid the photo for the few minutes you're waiting for the cops.

If this is true, then the driver is just as negligible as the muppet paparazzi for engaging in reckless behaviour along with the passengers who should have told him to cop on.

Do you believe everything coming from the Royal family? They’ve plenty of lies issued over the years. What about Prince Andrew? Do you believe he doesn’t sweat and had nothing to do with Epstein and his carry on? Funny how there isn’t a thread on that and he’s not called a ‘known liar’ regularly on boards. Do you believe Diana had a hard time from the paparazzi? Why weren’t the public told that Prince William paid Rupert Murdoch a ‘large sum’ of money. What was that for and what did in involve? Did it involve ‘a cover up re William’s affair?

The hate train against Meghan and Harry needs to stop, no matter what you think of them.

Why would they issue such a statement if there wasn’t truth to it. They’d appeared at a very successful awards ceremony and all had gone well. The dehumanising of them continues apace. Amazing what constant clickbait negative headlines can convince people of. I shudder to think what AI could convince people of in the future. You don’t have to like H&M to not hate them or be concerned for their safety.

Andrew isn't on a PR bender. He did one interview, it was a disaster and he went to ground. He doesn't court attention like H&M who do so because they are making a buck and financially independent. Any media attention was when updates on his case happened. No one believes his story. Everyone thinks he is a creep and a spoofer. He doesn't have anyone doing the sort of whataboutery and winding up about him in his defense which is what drives this thread.
