The front is OK, lifted up with a Senneboggan so the roof and doors etc ruined. Unmarked alloys and new looking tyres. Felix Gormley's yard if anyone interested.

Is that a Victor 101 or VX4/90 peeping out from under the tarp beside the Berlingo?

Saw an old Saab (70 something reg I think) just abandoned on the side of a slip road in Limerick. Exact location below. I wasn't driving so couldn't stop to have a look. The front licence plate was bent and there seemed to be some minor damage under the plate. Stolen and abandoned after it broke down?

    Right here:

I think I know where this car is. I have seen it myself as I was able to see it from the roadside. It's a 190 or a 220. The main vehicle lies in an overgrown field and is literally canabalised! (Half a shell). Parts of the car are scattered. I know someone who is looking for a rear bumper off this car but I don't know who owns the property.

The badge says 325 but the engine is 1.8. The chassis is rotten.

I wouldn't say something like this before actually seeing that car. Leather interior, and if it has the twin cam engine it defo wouldn't be for 200 euro. Also the tyres are brand new (for some reason).

What's up with the fake UK registration plates?

Are they supposed to enhance the look

I don't have exact answer to that question. Some people think UK is "cooler" than Ireland maybe? It's like german plates on VW/Audi sh*tmobiles.

I dont understand it either. I also think some drivers living near the border with N.I. may think they can somehow 'hide' their RoI registrations if they use yellow rear plates when driving in N.I.

That's because the body is from fiberglass. Hard to say what's the condition of the engine etc.
I would say the tax man would like to pay him a visit

Yeah, all he can do is to ring the doorbell. Those cars are not roadworthy apparently so I'm not sure how much they would get for cars that would be declared off the road after put on Irish plates. VRT on worthless cars? Zero zero nothing. Waste of time.

Few minutes after I took those pictures I saw in town a new Range Rover on ZV plates (2002-2012 model, don't know the exact type). Obviously can't be vintage, it wasn't even the previous model but a new car.

Spotted a 1975 Mk3 Cortina (facelifted version) estate on Sunday. It was a very shabby white colour. Looked like an XL model as it had a higher level of trim to the downrange models. It has a 75-XX-1234 reg, so it was an import. It just flew by so I couldn't get a photo. Anyway I was driving ...
