Limerick Dump?

Hiya, I'm clearing out a house in Woodview and have a trailer full of black bags and a broken bed with some other general rubbish and garden debris, is there a good dump to bring it to anywhere? Cheaper the better, thanks.

You can bring material to Greenstar/Panda on the dock road, it is weighed and you are charged by the weight

Also I have a load of wheelie bins to get rid of, blue ones and purple ones and green ones with no logos on them, any clue who they belong to?

They don't take stuff from consumers, unless things have changed recently

Mungret recycling centre sounds like the way to go unless anyone has any better options?

Mungret doesn't accept general waste. You'd need to go to the old County dump at Gortadroma near Shanagolden. However that's only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You can also dump it in Clare. Their dump is on the Ennis side of Inagh. Open Tuesday to Saturday.

What’s the story with this place, how does it work ?

I was gonna clean the back garden. Have some tiles from renovating , wood and a fireplace surround and stuff.

just rock up with a trailer and dump it or?

There are no more "dumps" in Ireland.. Landfills are a thing of the past, any waste in Ireland that is not recycled is incinerated or exported..

You can either put in the effort and segregate stuff and take it to one of the various recycling places or you can pay for a skip or skip bag and get someone else to deal with it for you.

Just arrive with your car \ van or trailer and there are different areas for different types of waste., You pay on entry, and take the waste to the appropriate area and leave it in the appropriate skip. Skips are removed frequently and you can drive right up to them..
