    Hi Folks.

Went to start my car on Saturday morning and the dash lit up along with a number of warnings. First warning is saying the tyre pressure management is currently not available, then hill start assist is not available, the traction control light is lit up on the dash and the stop/start option is disabled.

I know I will have to bring to a garage to have a diagnostic but just checking if anyone has encountered this previously and hazard a guess as to what may be causing the issue?

Did engine start, typically if 12 volt battery goes low you get all sorts of errors. It can take two or 3 trips before some of these systems clear themselves, example tyre pressure sensors only send readings when the wheels are rotating and some systems need a minimum speed before they can pass self test. Stop/start will disable if it thinks the battery might not be good enough to restart the engine.

Engine starts no bother, I had the 12v battery replaced about 18 months ago so I didnt think that was the issue. I've driven about 50km since the errors appeared, I've also reset the tyre pressure but issue remains. A bit of goggling seems to indicate it may be a loose/faulty ABS sensor.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the exact same double warning issue on my 2013 focus at the min. I've been getting the warnings on and off for the last 2 weeks or so. And then this evening, my car wouldn't start. I tried pressing the start button 2/3 times with no success. It eventually started from a push.

I'm hoping you found a solution and that it's a simple fix 🤞

Yea it turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor on the rear passenger side. Strange thing is, I have the same issue again this week. Few hours in the garage and €180 later and it was sorted.
