Well pump, water flowing back down well and pump constantly running.

The water is flowing back down the well, I replaced the non return valve and as I guessed the old one was after disintegrated inside, everything worked normal again for a couple of hours until the water started running back down the well again, anyone know what the problem is?

Is your pressure vessel holing charge pressure?

Right. You may need to pull up the pipes.

Down the bottom there's probably a non-return or foot valve. They tend to give up. Small money to replace

No non return valve at the bottom as it’s a submersible pump, I took off the non return valve at the top this evening and when I’d that off and the pump off I could hear water still flowing down the well. It is an an aquifer that the well is coming from so I haven’t a clue how I can hear water flowing.
