Long way to go to the top, wouldn’t rule Jonas out yet.

Said it yesterday but Yates is playing a huge part in this tour compared to Pog’s domestiques last year

    Vinegaard holding Pog

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,584 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

He could put 20-30 seconds on him here plus bonuses but pog does look tired

    Rodriguez could catch vgg yet

Fair play to Jonas he is hanging on.

If Pogs keeps this little gap he will roast Vingo on the descent.

    Could Pog have burned himself?

    Ving is back

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,686 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

I think he’ll attack at the summit and try gap him on the descent but we’ll see

This is an incredible battle, the two best in the world going at it on a brutal climb.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,300 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

    Pog looks shook

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,715 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Commentators implied this climb same one that Roche caught Delgado on in 1987? That was La Plagne?

    FFS, motorbike in the way.

    Pog robbed by the motos

Pogacar in dreamland near the top.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,584 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

    Pog looks cooked

    That was exciting

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,715 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Pog 2-1 on for tour victory. Is he the stronger TTer?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 24,901 Mod ✭✭✭✭CramCycle

Also Yates getting a nice drag out of the Motos, Rodriguez going over the top

Have we stopped calling them bonifications?

The experts say Vingegaard is the better TTer but I wouldn't bet against Pog in a TT after 2020.

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,715 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Such a skill and so dangerous is this high-speed descending

I'd say that the advantage lies with Vingegaard for the TT. Pogacar curtailed training probably left him with less time on the TT bike.
