Could they not play after the finals? Depends what their tour schedule is gonna be but if they’re gonna do more than 1 night then it’s surely gonna be Croke park again

Next July is the date I heard, if its Croke Park they will have to possibly relay the pitch after it.

They usually play 2 nights or 4 nights in a venue, 2 nights on a night off then 2 nights on.

The stage is quite small , they could put it up in 2 days.

I'd hope 2 nights PUC Cork maybe 2 or 3 nights Croke Park or RDS or Marlay Park

Sound is shite at Croker but Coldplay are the only band I've seen there that mastered it.

The sound was great the last time they played there.

Other bands should take note.

Too many acts charging big money for garbage sound.

Absolutely fantastic. I'm a big fan of their earlier albums so clearly helps if you like them.

However it's worth it for the spectacle alone. It's impossible not to get caught up in the bells and whistles I.e xylobands. It's put together so well.

The Croke park concert was absolutely brilliant the last time. Sound was excellent. Whole thing was pretty special. They had a beautiful clear, dry and windless night for it. I'd given up on Coldplay after seeing them a couple of times and after the first couple of albums ... but that Croke Park concert was amazing. Don't like Sky Full of stars though, it's trash. 🤣 But they've a ton of other songs that just explode to life in a huge stadium. And Chris Martin can pull it off. But ... Disclaimer... Weather dependent 🙄

Never knew June was a thing re gigs. Is it all fanning off Glastonbury hype for gigs or just went most venues are available ?

Mixture of venue and act availability, you can only take over public parks for a set number of days or week or two so you need to have a services of shows in a tight time frame.

a lot of international acts tour europe from May - early july. Primavera anchors festival season through to Glastonbury/rockwerchter as other anchors.

and for stadium acts they only have late May - late July window to tour europe as they will need to use football stadiums in between seasons.

July and august seen as dead time for gigs as people have summer holidays, schools are finished so parents priority is summer trips etc.
