There is a “local internet outage” here. Probably because I finally have a day off where I have nothing to do but catch up on my streaming. :P

is there a way that I can be alerted when it is working again rather than checking my AppleTV every few minutes?

I had a look at downdetector but cannot make Head not tail of it - don’t even know if it is saying that Eir is down.

Well, if you are staying within the walls of your own network, turn off any 4g, send yourself an email. Have notifications turned on on your phone and when wifi comes back, the mail will arrive in your inbox, hey presto....

well, thats the only way i can think of.

Internet is back now. I checked it at 13:15 and was still but at 13:35 it was working.

Where did you get the information?
