My brother got bitten by one recently and it just looked like a bad hive for a few days.

Don't mind them at all. However, I'm doing a bit of painting around the house and a monster sized one hopped out of the drop clothes when I was spreading them around. Biggest I've seen by a mile, and we have loads of them here.
