And given that you could rent it for one person in the lap of luxury, or stick bunk beds in every corner and pile 'em deep for (relative) peanuts, the price per property is the most sensible and transparent way of reporting rental costs.

..again, you seem to be taking umbrage to one of the countries most respected commentators on the matter, this fcuk up isnt his making, we ve clearly completely fcuked up our property markets, hes just reporting how this serious fcuk up is presenting itself, hes also been offering advice on how to potentially solve it, yet out policy makers have said fcuk it, lets ignore this chaps good advice....
