Some difference from the August 2019 England that absolutely destroyed us.

Ross Byrne isn’t a ten you want to be starting or bringing on in an RWC knockout. Can’t say for certain Crowley is either, but at least he has a chance to be. Crowley has to be the clear second option now.

This is the first start of the season for the entire starting 15. In contrast, England have been making continuity selections over the last three fixtures.

We're fine, I think. Lots to work on, but we're at game one this season. No issues yet.

We've so many new players from 2019. The back 3, Doris, Sheahan, JGP I think, Beirne etc.

Can you imagine how excited Ben Earl must get opening his presents on Christmas morning?

I still dont know why Ireland push forward with the maul when England stop the initial drive, just asking them to turn you over as its one of the areas they are really good at.

I've been very impressed with Ireland's kick chase.

We hang one up and have three forwards busting their balls to swarm the England catcher.

    That's poor.

But England celebrating like they won the WC is pathetic.

This is shocking at the lineout. Warm up or not.

That was some brilliant psychological play from Ireland. But it ebbed down due to a crooked lineout.

We should have better than herring in reserve

England probably have more man of the matches in the Irish side then in their own, its Ireland errors more than anything that's keeping them in touch.

Borthwick is one of the poorest international coaches I remember in recent times.

Really hope we are holding back here, its poor .

Very poor game, England are dreadful, Byrne and Prendergast have not been great, Dorris and Sexton such upgrades

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,985 ✭✭✭SaoPaulo41

In last 2 games Irelands 5 mtr attacking line outs have been a mess.

    Red. Billy V RWC over

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,140 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That's a red for Vunipola.

    Tucked shoulder and no wrap.

Theres another english **** banned now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,140 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Referee has bottled that.

Red all day and a suspension if World Rugby has any balls.

  • Registered Users Posts: 171 ✭✭noc1980

We're now in hoping we're 'holding back the movez' - Same thing that's said every 4 years. We've simply been figured out. SA/NZ/Fra and even Scotland won't be worried watching this. We're a busted flush.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,094 ✭✭✭testtech05

There shouldn't even be a review of that red all day

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,464 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

That should be a red for Vinuipola.

It wouldn't be an England v Ireland game without an England red card.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,019 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

    Also, shut up Hugh Cahill.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,685 ✭✭✭Shehal

That is the definition of a TMO bunker decision. The more I look at it the more it looks like a red but I wouldnt be surprised if the buyer decides he was passive and its given as a yellow. Think he would be lucky if that happened imo.

That's Vinuipola out of the start of the world cup.

He's following the new process, there's no problem with that.
