    Where will you be working?

    It depends on your budget.

If you have unlimited funds, then I suggest Salthill / Dr. Mannix road / Glenard, although these areas are older areas, so there may not be many families with young children living there.

Knocknacarra is a huge suburb, further out than Salthill, with a younger demographic.

OP needs to give more info to get more reasoned replies.

Not in the City but I would say Oranmore as it has everything including kids and a bus service to the city every 30 min.

I'd love to live in Salthill but the population there is a lot older.

Yeah - but can you really compare the schools?

All depends on where ye will be working and how you plan on commuting. If it’s by car everyday you could be spending a lot of time sitting in traffic if you have to cross town. That’s why replies are asking about work. Lots of nice areas but it all depends.

If Schools are main priority - then West of the Corrib is where majority of the Secondary Schools are located.

We might find out some of the op's requirements at some point in the future, who knows.
