School Transport 2023/4

Hi

the Bus Éireann school transport system starts on 28/8. It is now 8pm on 25/8, does anyone know at what point Bus Eireann will advise the timetable, routes and pickup points for the school transport, particularly Dublin

It is so poorly run. We never got a timetable, stop location, driver doesn't even get a list of names and contact details of passengers ! And parents don't get contact details of bus companies. Totally insane way to run a service, especially one with small kids.

Over 12 years here using bus eireann school buses. Why ask if you have information.

They won't send you this information. You need to ask locally and stand on the side of the road next week, flag the bus to stop and introduce yourself and your child to the driver.

My kids have used the service for a few years. I never received any info other than a bus ticket.

I don't know what route the bus uses, what time the bus will pass, where the pickup point is, nothing communicated. I've never see the bus before. At least i have the bus ticket

Your going to have to ask a neighbour who has school going children or in the local shop etc. Someone local will be able to help you out. Honestly Bus Eireann are not going to tell you where to stand and at what time.
