Wire routing for kitchen electrical socket?

There may be a variety of options, but most would likely chase / fish a cable from the existing socket down below the worktop and into the void behind / below the cabinets.

Then route it over under the window to the new socket location. Small chase / fish from the worktop to the new socket.

Not sure why that vertical timber stud is much of an issue? There is probably one every 16” if it’s a studded wall.

If you remove the plinth/kick-board you will see better what you are dealing with.

Yes, although you likely won’t have access to have the horizontal run that high up, but you should have at floor level under the cabinets.

Horizontally at ground level, will be on the surface and should be visible to anyone working in the area. I don’t think you are introducing much additional risk.

You could use an SWA cable which incorporates an earthed armour if you were concerned.

Concealed cabling to an accessory should be directly vertical or horizontal, indeed so as to be predictable and reduce the chances of someone drilling into it. But I don’t really see it arising much in what you are trying to achieve.

I'll let the lads above comment on whether you can extend the spur just like that, but stick it in a bit of trunking if you feel that it would offer better protection, but many kitchens have the wiring just laid out under the cabinets.

The socket under the cabinets is almost certainly part of them same circuit. Just extend that one OP. Assuming the wall is a stud wall cut out the socket above the counter and fish a cable down, you may hit a noggin(timber between 2 joists) at which point you may need to cut the plaster board and patch. Cut a decent size and keep it as it makes it easier to replace and patch the cut line.

All going well you'll be done in a couple of hours.

Bathrooms are a ‘special location’ and ‘restricted works’ as defined in the regulations.

But not kitchens? Where are you getting that from?

Not bathrooms, but certain area in a bathroom around the shower and bath.

I think there's nothing about sinks, but I'd have to check.

I am not an electrician btw, I checked the regs when I was doing my own minor works in my own house.

You can't spur off a spur, the only way you can is if you remove the original spur for a fused connection unit. Then you can add as many sockets as you want provided the load at once doesn't exceed 13 amps.

Your washing machine socket under the cabinets is probably a circuit socket you could spur off.

If you can't remove the worktop, you'll have to surface mount the socket with mini trunking. If you don't mind the look its a much quicker, less dirty job.
