I’m fairly nifty at sewing and add concealed pockets to the side seams of dresses and skirts. But the small size of fitted pockets annoys me. Do designers think women are always happy to carry a bag. My phone is usually my only accessory and I like to carry it in a pocket.

I don’t use the pockets in more expensive tailored garments as it ruins the shape.

I personally know of a 73 year old man sitting in A and E on a chair since 11 am yesterday morning . Any Taoiseach or Minister should be shocked , upset and mortified at that fact
