Cashback on Mortgages

Hey Everyone,

So I’m looking to get a mortgage and ideally i would go for the lowest rate possible at the moment but I’m wondering if it’s possible to go for a mortgage with a cash back and then once I’ve gotten cash back i can switch to the lowest rate? Is that possible?

i know there’s probably some penalty for switching and id probably have to incur legal fees etc but i still think it would be beneficial overall?

Anyone tried this? I don’t want to be stuck with a high rate mortgage so just wanted to check before i go ahead with this!

The 1% cashback payment will be made into your mortgage paying current account within 45 days of the 5th anniversary of your mortgage drawdown. You are entitled to this at the end of your 5 years regardless. For further advice please call 016113333.
