Woeful all over the park bar the young lad Quansah who looks like he has something about him.

This is a bit like the Newcastle game in the way that we're lucky only to be 1 goal down, let's hope we get the finger out and steal another 3 points.

I don't mind Gakpo with Salah/Diaz/Nunez on the wings but himself and Jota don't work together imo.

This game was crying out for Endo to start over Mac - Mac was bound to be tired after all his travel, time difference, and minutes played. Endo had games in Europe, was brilliant in his first, and just played 30 mins in the second.

Not many positives. Being only 1-0 down is probably the only one. Fairly abysmal all round. Never seen so many Liverpool players just get dribbled past like traffic cones.

Our defenders, and I include Matip in that, are also terrified to pass out from the back so every pass is at terrible speed and nowhere near forward enough.

Think this is a big half coming up, whether it's the hairdryer treatment or quiet words in the ear, we need to see a huge improvement in the second half. This will tell a lot about where we are as a team. A big performance needed similar to previous Klopp Liverpool teams, a Pep city team, a United Ferguson team etc. Hopefully it's not the same as last season where we were simply very poor away from home a lot.

He just got the goal so no complaints but...

I feel like Gakpo showed a lot more physicality in his first few games for us, shielded the ball and used his strength a lot more than he's been doing lately.

Quansah's looked a fabulous footballer for years, delighted to see him getting time now - a season earlier than I expected him to be integrated to be honest, but was getting a bit worried he might just be sold on.

I'd say he was already slowing up to react to however the ball bounced off Dawson - looked nailed on Dawson would get a foot onto it, no idea how he didn't.
