Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys getting married in Nov in Cork

    Low key affair. Register office.

    Just looking for someone that could hold 16 people around 3pm in Cork City centre?

    Both a bit casual for wedding maybe? I don't know if they have separate dining rooms for small groups... but that could just be my bias on what people want for a wedding.


    OP, what are you looking for? Private dining room? Particular style of food? Budget - low or high?

    There are city center hotels that have private dining rooms for small wedding dinners or birthdays... I'd echo the earlier suggestion of jacobs.

    • Jacobs on the Mall
    • Hayfield Manor
    • Greenes
    • The Metropole
    • The Imperial (but request a dining room , vs the public restaurant - sketch)
    • The river lee hotel

    We ended up with nandos they have upstairs separated area plus be quite at that time. Also no money down

    They open at 5pm so 3pm is unlikely.

    We recently had our wedding reception there (private dining room) and it was excellent.

    You could do like we did and just book out a bar you like for a few hours before your scheduled meal reservation...
