Garden Room

Hello Everyone,

Im an electrical Apprentice and I want to run power to a garden room in my own house and I’m looking for some help as I want to do it right.

i will be putting a fuse board in the garden room and my question it does it need an earth rod or do I just connect the earth from the fuse board in the main house to the one in the garden room.

I’ll be using 3 core swa cable

An apprentice? Surely you know an electrician…?

If you're an electrical apprentice, ask your employer or a qualified electrician in your company to either tell you or help you. Nonsense asking random people on an internet forum that could give you wrong info and cause massive problems.

I'd guess you're not an apprentice at all, just want to give this a go yourself without paying for electrician. Don't do it if you don't know what you're doing.
