Woman on Aungier Street

I've been taking the 122 to Griffith College for a year and a half and noticed a woman sitting on the pavement outside Tesco with a bunch of pigeons around her. I thought nothing about it until I read a thread on Reddit's /r/dublin that she was actually a former nurse. That's shocking and sad if true.

I didn't know she was a former nurse. I know her a little. Pigeons everywhere and strangely a load of ice cubes around her all the time. I think the shop she begs outside gives them to her.

That is terrible and so wrong. So sad to hear that. She should be in a nice flat and be hired by the HSE as there is a nurse shortage.

Hopefully things get better for her.

She's causing fierce trouble for the local businesses around there when it comes to hygiene because of the pigeons, plus she camps up blocking a fire exit for one of the buildings.
