I am not surprised. I went looking for Joe's Meaning of Life today on de RTE Player. It is missing from Home Page, which is strange for a current series with a show broadcast a couple of days ago. You have to search for 'Meaning of Life'. Even then Gaybo's comes up first. Searching for 'Joe Duffy' returns nothing.

Here we go again 🙄 Gynae team instructed me to get ambulance to A&E… 15+ hours misery ahead on a chair. Apparently bedlam in casualty today, took 10 minutes for ambulance service to connect, they told me the ambulances are all detained at the various hospitals.

You’d be surprised how dose contracts are worded in favour of the host, it’s usually something like “X undertakes to do Y number of hours across radio and tv, with a minimum payment of €Eleventeen Million guaranteed to the X if RTÉ cannot/does not provide said hours”.

plus you’re forgetting Joe has likely banked circa. €250,000 this year already. Some people can afford not to work……for a time at least.

I’ve heard all is not well in ~~paradise~~, sorry, Montrosia….and it’s nothing to do with illness so to speak.

There was a guy on Sky News, (yes I know different country), but he said "Everytime I come on here, the issue can be boiled down to the tories not investing in infrastructure". We have the same problem here. Not enough school places. Our prisons have run out of space, Not enough housing for the indiginous population, nevermind refugees. Transport is shocking - not enough roads, not enough train lines.
