Snipping the image to stop the email address being viewed in case the poster is unaware that it is set to public.

All email addresses are hidden, but a poster can opt to make their email address visible.

Maybe PM the poster to let them know their email address is visible. They may already know.

Are you sure about that? I can't find any option to do that (on desktop at least), and I have a vague recollection of it being removed so people couldn't make that mistake.
