Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That's a YC

Yeah that's not a natural tackle motion, good call.

At what point is Evans going to warn or yellow card Glasgow for the amount of infringements at the breakdown. They are clearly doing it on purpose to at the very least disrupt Leinster's play and have been doing it consistently without even being warned never mind penalised.

Genuinely don't recognise two of the Leinster sub coming on. Very inexperienced squad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

If the scrum wasnt bad enough at the beginning imagine what it'll be like now with 2 props on debut...

Thought Culhane had a decent 50 minutes outing. Look strong in contact. Lots more to come.

We can talk about the inexperienced players in the squad but when you have an experienced former All Black throwing stupid passes like that then what chance have you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

It's just too easy for Glasgow every time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Glasgow show great continuity in attack, but Leinster make such elementary errors to allow them the chance to attack. Lot of tightening up required.

Some of this defence has been unacceptable at this level... That try is the gift of all gifts.

That is nonsense - that was a good try arising from a great catch and smart link play.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,037 ✭✭✭blackcard

    Tackling optional for Leinster

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

Good try bar 2 missed tackles on the 10 who simply ran a straight line and then the cover defence in no man's land.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

That scrum went just as well as you would expect from a scrum with 2 debutants at prop.

    Great break from Foley.

Think Turners foot was in touch though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

    Arm under his foot there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

If he's stayed in that's a great try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

None of those angles show Turner's boot being in touch.

I don't know what Evans is seeing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,327 ✭✭✭theVersatile

Adams trying his damnedest not to give it.

No clear and obvious in touch for me - try stands

EDIT: Did they just change the on field decision to in touch?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

TMO is clearly saying it's not in touch. Referee trying to talk him out of it.

    Zero evidence to overturn that

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

That is a shocking call, the Glasgow player keeps Turners feet up from touch at all times.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,327 ✭✭✭theVersatile

    That's bewildering stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,994 ✭✭✭realhorrorshow

I'm usually extremely light on referees but this is bad enough to justify a demotion IMO.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,210 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

There is absolutely nothing whatsoever about that that was "clearly" anything.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

At least Evans has been consistent, no clear evidence he's in touch yet made the decision he's in touch. Absolute homer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,415 ✭✭✭jammiedodgers

Why bother with an on field decision then?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,535 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Nothing clear to overturn that imo, how can he say it's Turner's foot in touch when the defender's hand is obviously underneath it

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,210 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

TMO saying it was not clearly in touch rather than clearly not in touch. But on field decision should have stayed in that case.

Im no surprised, he's given Glasgow every decision from the first whistle and that try decision just sums him up today.
