Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leinster clearly had that held up in a maul for ages too. No call.

I don't think anything was obvious but that's the point, no clear evidence to overturn his own on field decision. He said it himself; "looks like".

There was a clear grounding and no clear evidence Turner was in touch so therefore the decision should be try unless there's evidence to overturn it. Clear as daylight for anyone to understand and yet he's made that decision.

If the TMO staring at a close up on a screen can't tell, how is he seeing better in the stadium? Joke

Paddy McCarthy has a very wiry build for a loosehead.

Looked great at u20 level so hopefully he develops well.

Some sloppy play at times there, but Tommy O'Brien looks the absolute business. Quick off the mark, strong in contact and has a high workrate. He broke the line in his wing then two phases later was over on the other wing to break the line again.

How many times has Evan's said "tackler release" and then Glasgow just rip the ball anyway? When are they going to be warned, its clear they are doing this intentionally now to slow down Leinster's momentum...

Our attack is just 15 men with white line fever. Amateur stuff

Glasgow getting away with murder at each breakdown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Glasgow are giving Leinster plenty of opportunities to strike back. Just need to take them.

Evans surely has to give a yellow for yet another Glasgow infringement on their 5 metre line.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

Glasgow just all over the place at every ruck, was only a matter of time before Glasgow would get a turn over from.

Love the commentator saying "trapped in the ruck" they are trapped in the ruck because they arent rolling away...that's what we call a penalty genius.

Utterly inept from 5m out. Brainless pick and goes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

    Finally caught a Glasgow infringement...

Lovely pop pass from Prendergast and great finish from TOB.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

Poetic justice that try was given after the appalling decision to disallow the other one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,535 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

    Looks like he dropped that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Ah lads.

Worked our way back into the game then a silly error from the restart.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

The ref bought the cheapest of cheap penalties to give away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭Shehal

The amount of work we have to do to get any penalty decision and then he gives them a penalty for that...

    The amount of missed tackles...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,952 ✭✭✭TRC10

Turners right knee was clearly in touch. The only thing that was appaling was the time it took to come to the decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Lots to work on, but a decent outing from a good few of our players. Boyle looked very promising in the loose and Culhane out in a strong 50 minute shift.

Though TOB was the pick of the backs. Some great work rate and excellent carrying.

Has there been a single positive thing to take from this game outside of some debuts?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

Terrible terrible terrible again. All coming from not taking the restart.

Then to make it even better Larmour gets a yellow, when constant penalty after penalty down the other end and nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,463 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

The TMO said there was no clear evidence that his foot was in touch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,535 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Glad to see you're not taking any breaks post WC from your unrelenting negativity

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,484 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

His knee was nowhere near touch. Did you confuse to with the defender's arm (I did the first time)?
