Where or where is the CG1 form on ros.ie?

Sorry @roosterman71 Looks like that option isn't there any more, i copied that screenshot from an old post of mine. That said , I've just done my CG1 and uploaded in the same "add a new enquiry" place. Cannot see anywhere else to submit it, hopefully should be fine, as I made losses last year and have no taxes to pay as a result i suppose it hardly matters :(

Edit: Just checked the status of the one i submitted earlier and they have already updated it to the headings as in the screenshot above so looks like all good - that's the place to upload it to as before.

This video is great for explaining how to fill it in, i play, pause, fill in the bit he is discussing etc, its very well explained. I just use Foxit to fill in the bits as my handwriting is atrocious and then sign it using adobe reader (signing in Foxit is a paid addon but not in adobe reader)

As its not taxable you don't need to do anything until submitting the CG1 by October 31st 2024.

Nope, go to payments/repayments - make a payment - tax - CGT , which you would need to do by December 15th this year if you were over the allowance between January and November

This is all assuming you are a PAYE worker, CGT is different/more complicated for self employed I believe.
