Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This son goal shouldn't even be debated. This is not what the offside rule was created for. A complete shambles

Spurs are playing some beautiful football

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,538 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Its soul-destroying, every goal now, no joy, constantly checking for something, anything that may be wrong with it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,477 ✭✭✭Comic Book Guy

Fairly amateurish from Neville not even knowing the offside rule

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,803 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

    That was fantastic football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

    Surely a red that

thats a red for me by udogie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,503 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

Romero will surely go for that. How **** stupid can you get

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,803 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

    Absolutely braindead stuff from Romero

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,538 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

A game of football might break out in between all these VAR replays

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

No goal, but should be a red card. Stupid by Romero.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

If VAR miss that, they may as well just scrap the whole thing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,286 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

should be a red for romero but judging on bruno G, its grand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,503 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

That’s a shambles. Var just making it up as they go along at this point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

If webb had hair he'd be pulling it out by now, spurs should be down to 9 and VAR aren't arsed with it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,103 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    This game is frantic.

Would be nicer without Neville's oooohs and constant decision baiting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,286 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

VAR is so fucked, what the **** are they at?

Thats not a red for romero. IT's a tap after colwill scrapes his leg. Colwill going down as he does is quite frankly an embarrasment.

Book the pair of them and get on with it

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,672 ✭✭✭elefant

    Good match.

Great how stupid Spurs are making Conte look now - it must be very satisfying for the players. He made an absolute show of himself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,389 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Not watching but judging by in here Spurs should be down to 9 but 2 up. Sounds like mad game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,710 ✭✭✭mobydopy

2 stonewall red cards from Spurs , what is VAR doing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,803 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

I’m a spurs fan and I don’t understand VAR anymore.

Romero and udogie pretty lucky there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,510 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Sky want Romero sent off for that but didn't think Bruno G should be sent off for the Elbow to the back of the head

Referees are awful in the Premier league these days. Two clear pushes in back, one by each team, not penalised.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,710 ✭✭✭mobydopy

What a game , so much drama

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

    More again

Christ, what a mess of a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,041 ✭✭✭Pipmae

Goodness what a match. Frantic. If only I could mute Neville - wrecking my head (all weekend actually).

    this game is crazy.

another disallowed goal, potential peno check and another red.

ref has lost control and VAT are shite

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,510 ✭✭✭✭noodler

If Chelsea don't get a goal or a peno out of this...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,477 ✭✭✭Comic Book Guy

He's a pure disgust with his ooooooooohs over everything and his mistakes on big decisions. Can he be muted separately

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

    Has to be a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,286 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,103 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

He hasn't said one word about the actual football yet.

It's constant decisions and referees and red cards talk out of him.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

The Curtis Jones red wasn't as bad as that, he should be sent off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,286 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

    red and pen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,389 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Two red cards not given on Romero?

Edit: I see a red now on Google.

It is a red. Every player doing that knows they’re most likely going to get sent off. Colwill milked it to draw attention to it.

Edit; more mayhem here. Games will be going as long as NFL games before long. Romero getting what he deserves this time, he’s a headcase.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,330 ✭✭✭Did you smash it

The dignity that rugby players take red cards with compared to football players

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

1st time all season that Romero has reverted to his idiotic ways from last season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,982 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Oh, football these days is a complete joke.

Romero's other foot is on its toes. He can't control what happens with his tackling foot, he gets the ball. At worst that should be a yellow card. It wasn't serious, the player didn't go down at the time of the challenge. For me it's not even a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,588 ✭✭✭cmac2009

Exactly. They act like they have a chance of convincing them to overturn it.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

He wasn't in control, caught the player on the ankle studs up with a reckless tackle. Definite red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,103 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

35 mins in and there's been 2, or 3 VAR checks for red cards. 2 goals ruled out via VAR. One penalty awarded via VAR.

And a football game in between.

The referees have lost control completely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,495 ✭✭✭✭bucketybuck

And yet people will still say rubbish like, "Yeah its bad but its not VAR's fault". They think that if they can just tweak it then everything will be fine, which is a huge misunderstanding of why VAR is a bad fit.

Its like there is some brain rot that has blinded people to the reality that the game would be better without VAR. Far more weekly controversies than there ever were previously and yet they still can't see the woods for the trees.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,286 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

begs the question, how didnt the same ref give kovacic a 2nd yellow?
