I wonder does Frank Murphy feel he was generous to Munster in the first half so is trying to even things up this second half? Some of those Ulster turnover decision's were...VERY generous...

Ahhhh so NOW rolling into the 9 is a penalty?!

He's ... not great. Too many better backrow options.

Lost the ball there by not taking the tackle

Will there be a ruck where Edogbo won't be held on to or tackle past it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 471 ✭✭Blackheath

    Some tackle by Nash

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭Eoinbmw

    Rib gone in that tackle!

Both Frisch and Kendellen having games to forget.

The main reasons ulster are still in this are Kendellen and Frisch.

    They are brutal.

Frisch needs to be hooked now, single handily ruined 3 different attacking opportunities this game with careless knock on's, quite clear his head isnt in the game...

Lovely hit by Nash. Cut him in half. Been disappointed with Munster’s back play. Crowley has had some nice touches but hasn’t got the backline moving yet. Not helped by Frisch dropping the ball regularly. Is that 3 knock ons from him so far?

  • Administrators Posts: 54,316 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Edogbo off, IMO he completely ran out of puff after 30 mins.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭Eoinbmw

In fairness to frisch that last pass was awfull

Munsters work at the breakdown has been very sloppy.

as a Connacht fan I am neither supporting Munster or Ulster but the level of officiating is just dreadful.

No arms tackle on Henderson there

    Pass a mile forward

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,089 ✭✭✭ElisaAtWar

with Frank, I have always found he tends to play for the team that is behind in the match, so he can keep it interesting. And that should never be the call of the referee

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,895 ✭✭✭budhabob

    Forward pass in that play.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,316 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Murphy is awful.

Pretty sure that should have been a pen to Munster in the line out for contact on the arm.

    And that was forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 549 ✭✭✭MaddChris

Interesting thst neither team is kicking long, apart from kick offs, nearly every kick is contestable or there abouts.

Are the touch judges just for show!

  • Registered Users Posts: 549 ✭✭✭MaddChris

    Bullsh*t that pass was backwards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,546 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Munsters lineout has been poor all season. Benetton did a number on it a few weeks ago and now Ulster have taken it apart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,959 ✭✭✭Shehal

What's the point of a TMO if a blatantly forward pass like that wont even be looked at. Murphy seems determined to even things up after the first half and isnt even trying to hide it at this point.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭Eoinbmw

Very poor quality game all round!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,030 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Was about to post after he nabbed Doak that's why Casey is ahead of him... then he knocks on at the base 😞

  • Registered Users Posts: 416 ✭✭Tommybojangles

    This is poor stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,030 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Looked harsh on Archer there, ball was out, no?

  • Registered Users Posts: 471 ✭✭Blackheath

    Wilson looks a strong boy

    Another Frisch highlight

Just call it a draw, go home and forget this game ever happened.

High quality stuff from both sides

    What is Cave smoking?

    Absolutely ridiculous call from Murphy

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

    Ulster fan's booing. Lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,959 ✭✭✭Shehal

Munster have successfully thrown away their 11 point lead after 30 minutes of trying. Can they now wake up please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,030 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Not sure what the fans are booing for there

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,089 ✭✭✭ElisaAtWar

and that was a perfectly valid try for Ulster. Murphy you are a total disgrace

Tonight is the first I’ve ever heard of Scott Wilson tbh but I love him already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,030 ✭✭✭leakyboots

He took the throw ahead of the 5m mark, that's where the lineout would have been from, no? Doesn't matter if the ball went out by the flag. Immaterial now, Ulster rumble over

I love how Henderson went straight to Scott Wilson to celebrate there. The pressure came through the loose head but he’s as proud as us to see a young Ulster prop not collapse on engage

Knocked back by an Ulster hand but why not give the scrum to Ulster...

Should be a canter home for Ulster now. Munster’s challenge seems done

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,959 ✭✭✭Shehal

Munster must be saying to themselves "how many chances do we need to give you for you to finally punish us?".

And finally Ulster get the memo.

    Another brutal Munster lineout.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,030 ✭✭✭leakyboots

No lineout, no scrum... we're under the cosh here!
