He also got a hand in the face from Basham which should be a pen if we're being consistent.

This is a very frustrating match to watch.

We'd be at least three scores ahead if we could cug down the handling errors.

    That line out was fine

Conditions are poor, but you still expect so much more from Leinster. Don't look anywhere near as comfortable in our handling or alignment in attack.

Calamity of errors so far. Scrums are painful

Seen 4 replays and still not sure what happened.

Well worked tap and go try. Leinster love those.

Scrums are a mess. Leinster have won four penalties now I think. Dragons are refusing to compete legally.

That's a nicely worked tap and go try

They are like magic tricks with the slight of hand..

McCarthy has given away a few penalties, but he's been Leinsters best player as well. Some huge carries in traffic and excellent work at the ruck.

James Culhane is getting better by the game too. Accelerates into contact with every carry he makes.

I thought it was just my old eyes. I have no idea what or how, but it was clever. Almost like one of those trick American Football plays.

    That's a lovely transition try.

It's one I'd like to see us score more of. Lancaster's tenure saw us play incredible attacking rugby in phase play and off set piece, but never as much on the counter attack.

    TOB injury.

Devastated for him. Been brilliant when on the pitch for the last few seasons, but has no luck with injuries.

    That's a fantastic try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,994 ✭✭✭realhorrorshow

The work rate from Sheehan to get to the wing after making the original break was Keenan-like.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,414 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Hopefully that's not too bad, TOBs been on a great run of form.

I've managed to miss all three tries.

McCarthy's defence has been excellent. Made two huge hits that knocked Dragons players behind the gain line on both occasions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,414 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

That's a shame. Some great defence let down by some cheap penalties.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

McCarthy is head and shoulders above every player on the pitch. Carrying and tackling with incredible physicality.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinsters attacking alignment is off. I've seen Ngatai and Osborne getting the ball as second receiver only to have no option outside to pass to. I don't know if it's a coaching issue or a lack of communication between the players, but there's a notable breakdown in attack after a few phases.

Has had some incredibly powerful interventions. Game breaker in a different way to the likes of Lowe, Doris and Sheehan.

Leinster timing is off by a second

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,414 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

    Maul my hoop.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,414 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

I very much wish we could get rid of this absurd held up rule.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,183 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Great try there. Some lovely touches from Culhane, McCarthy, Byrne and Russell in the lead up.
