    100%

It is not working at all. Went to their office on the quays and they could not make an online booking either! They could not even take cash and write a receipt. Just turn up I was told.

Booked a ticket half an hour ago and just to see went through all the steps again and could get all the way to payment. It’s definitely more cumbersome than the old website.

I tried again just there and no can do. I notice even all the names of towns and cities are not even in alphabetical order. It is a mess.

The list is a list of the most popular stops.

    The list order starts as:

    • Dublin
    • Dublin Airport
    • Galway
    • Cork
    • Cork Airport

it then switches to Alphabetical order, Athlone, Aughrim, etc.

This makes sense, most people are getting on at the main stops, not the likes of Aughrim.

What is weird is that you can’t type the name of the stop, usually dropdown’s like this would also have the option to start typing the first letter or two of the stop and it would filter the list based on what you typed.

    This is not my experience.

Booking Galway to Dublin for example. Single.

Outward journey first comes up, yes you are right, the main cities.

The fun begins when you insert the destination. The destination has a list of places not in alphabetical order and you have to go looking to see Dublin which turns out to be towards the end.

Next: Click Find Times and you end up with service 763 with all of 21 stops and taking almost 4 hours.

Can not see a direct non stop service Galway-Dublin.

Yep, I see that now, that is poor. I had tried Cork and it came up with sensible list of options, but selecting Galway gives a silly list of options. Probably should give you a list of Dublin, Dublin Airport, Cork, Cork Airport, Limerick and then the Alphabetical list. Also should perhaps put titles to separate the frequent options from the Alphabetical to make it clearer and of course the filter option.

    It definitely needs work.

It looks like they might have listened to us and they seem to have fixed it (probably did ages ago, but I just noticed).

Now, when you select the dropdown, it now looks like this:

    Popular
Dublin, Dublin Airport, Galway, Cork, Cork Airport
    - ------------------------------------------------
    Athlone, Aughrim, Balla ........

If you select Galway, then it lists "Dublin, Dublin Airport, Cork, Cork Airport" under popular, followed by the rest in alphabetical.

Makes sense and much better now. Though poor Limerick being left out of popular! Which is a surprise given the Eireagle service, I would have thought that they would want to highlight it.

It is a pretty good site and easy to use.

Though if they are looking for feedback a few enhancements that I'd suggest.

    • I'd love to see Apple and Google Pay support, would make checkout much faster and convenient. Dublin Express excellent website has it and it is so nice.
    • If you are booking multiple tickets, why do you need to give the other peoples names? I don't see the purpose and it just slows checking out down.
    • If you are going to make me enter the other persons names, at least save it to my account, so I can select them during future bookings, like Ryanair lets you do.

    I know, totally minor items.

    Website woes again.

Trying to book for 4pm at 2pm, I get this pink message saying "You must prebook this service, you will be able to book it at 2:51".

I waited until 2.51, and the error now says " You must prebook this service, you will be able to book it at 3:15".

I can't show the error message here, because irritatingly it disappears after a couple of seconds.
