Just flicked through the stations and landed on herself.....hearing a lot of far-right, young men, patriarchal, misogyny, toxic, 'discussion as men' etc in the space of 30 seconds

Hmmmm........any time I manage to catch a couple mins of this show, it almost seems to be a repeat

Very good and relevant episode tonight. No one should be afraid to go out for exercise.

I agree that parents should be talking to their boys at 5 to 10 years old about respect for there sisters and girls in there school too not at 15 or 25 years of age as its too late then.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Brilliant. You got to love protesters lol. That poor security gard was under pressure lol.

How did they get in in the first place?

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Katie had just finished interviewing a senior detective before they appeared. She didn't make much of an effort to help out 🤔😂

    What was the protest about?

These shows never have any discussion about the influx of men from countries where women are treated worse than what Irish men treat women.

How many Brazilian men are coming here every year. Ask brazilian women what they think of Brazilian men. Do they think it's only the 'good' Brazilians coming here?

Healy-Rae talking too much sense tonight.

Healy Rea wants more funding for roads in Kerry so he can get a handy contract out of it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,368 ✭✭✭✭mickdw

Sober people sticking to the speed limit are not the ones dying on the road unless being hit by another driver. That other driver likely speeding or drinking. Of course there will be the odd exception but in general people abiding by limits are not the ones dying.

Reducing limits is not the answer. Inforce the current limits and you will see massive reduction in deaths.

I've been driving nearly 15 years, plenty of it late at night and in the wee hours. Have not been stopped for a breathalyser or drug test ever.

About 25-30 deaths this year are down to stolen cars, majority of which are Jap imports that can be robbed with a lollypop stick. They should only be allowed to be registered after they have an immobilizer fitted as part of first registration process.

It could be interesting except Nicola Talentless is going to be there promoting herself.

Is Drew Harris going to be on tonight? It would not be logical for him to not appear on the programme.

If he does appear in studio tonight; I wonder what the response would be if he tries to answer the questions about the horrible events in Dublin last Thursday.

If Harris gives the exact same answers to Katie as to what he said to the Dublin City Policing Committee earlier today. It's going to be an extremely tough night for him in how the viewing audience reacts to his responses as to what unfolded for the people of Dublin and the whole country from last Thursday.

If those events last Thursday do not act as a catalyst to begin rebuilding the foundations of our justice system from scratch to fundamentally protect it's own citizens in the near future. The whole concept of living in a so called safe and peaceful country like Ireland is officially over in my opinion.

They didn't exactly blow wide open the barter account to finance those audience seats.

Tbf how does Katie Hannon get a gig like this, it’s like amateur hour every time I switch it on. Constantly waving the arms, pointing the biro or reading prompt cards, nothing seems natural. Surely there are better options out there??? Even on radio she is a hard listen, so just baffling really🤷

Nicola Tallent has just told us that there is not any evidence that there is any more crimes created by immigration.

Better check back on her Sunday World articles on gangs operating in Ireland.
