Air bnb - should we leave cash towards electric

Staying in an air bnb for a couple of nights and the place was very cold when we arrived and it seems to take ages to heat up but doesn't retain the heat for long at all. We have had the electric heaters on way more than we would normally and are getting very conscious of the cost to the owner. Debating between ourselves…

We have had the electric heaters on way more than we would normally and are getting very conscious of the cost to the owner. Debating between ourselves if we should leave some cash, maybe 20 quid, towards the cost when we leave. Just wondering what others think?

No. The place should be reasonably warm.

No. Heating is not an extra. If anything you should be highlighting how cold the place was in a review, so others will be aware of that before making booking it.

Yes. I would put it in your review. Some properties fall well short of what one should reasonably expect.
