Did Fred get cocky as Nella was gone, we knew his OCD about cooking but the take over going on the trial again and ordering Marvin too much in the trial annoyed me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,258 ✭✭✭Be right back

Tony, Marvin and Nick in the final and Tony for the win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,170 ✭✭✭timmyntc

Freds image will never recover from this. The show has outed him as a very arrogant and controlling person. Before this his image and PR were great, universally loved.

the exit interview was the worst though: "how do you cope not seeing or contacting loved ones for weeks" - Fred: "I just put my head down and didnt really think about them". Fiancée should pour cold 'watah' on the marriage after that

I felt so sorry for Sam. you could see how hurt he was. Fred was being an absolute pr**k. Glad to see him gone, he is not a team player at all

Tony still no 1 for me , Nick, and Marvin, but do think Sam will probably win it out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,706 ✭✭✭greenpilot

    Why?

He's actually a good guy, but after that nonesence with Nella, and the fact that nobody in the camp backed him up, I think he just gave up and was looking for an excuse to get out. Pretending to be a prick about the cooking gave him the perfect excuse.

Look at his reaction when they read out the vote. He was delighted.

Big time. I've ADHD and I've had it all my life. I'm in my 50's. He's "Recently diagnosed", a few weeks before entering the camp.

Definitely a bit of an act to the camera, as anyone with the disorder will tell you. ...

To be honest, in my opinion, what Fred said wasn't any worse than what Sam said to Jamie Lynn, when she was crying, wanting to go home. He said she was Crying Wolf , or words to that effect and there wasn't as much hullabaloo about that as there is about Fred 🤔

I've never paid much attention to First Dates, how does Fred come across in that show?

Tbh, I don't know if he turned up the stereotypical French Chef attitude to get voted out or if thats his personality. After the Nella argument, with nobody backing him up and then her subsequent behaviour towards him when she was camp leader, I wonder was he fed with his fellow campmates and just wanted out. His over eagerness to go on the trials the last couple days seemed like someone who had serious cabin (camp) fever.

On the flipside, maybe after 2½ weeks it was just clash of personalities, a perfectionist who likes order and cleaniness vs the others, jokers who don't get stressed and don't take it too seriously.

I like Fred and still do, he came across as a good go between balancer with Gordon and Gino on their road show

It could be camp cabin fever that last few days, wanting out of camp for a bit

His issue about the dirty camp, was right to be brought up, rats in camp not nice

I didn't like Danielle mean girl, back stabbing him, hope her or Josie goes out tonight

Nick had to run to the dunny for a severe case of the runs.

Isn't he on chef duty now, did he poison himself!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,175 ✭✭✭Jeff2

This truck trial is funny. Good craic. 😊

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,663 ✭✭✭prunudo

I know they're helping Tony, but this is funny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

This trial isn't difficult at all. They'll eat well tonight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭Loyal Lady

This trial is making me like these three (esp Teddy T) more

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭Loyal Lady

Ant and Dec a great help here

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

I feel dizzy with this trial.

@Mam of 4 hope himself is feeling better today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That 6th star was BS. They didn't have any chance to grab it.

very easy trial for the guys in the back. not a lot they can do about the star just wait and hope it comes to you

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Lucky Sam in the middle of that pineapple pyramid sandwich.

I'm delighted those 3 got to do that trial. Did feel a bit for Sam and Nigel to get fair but they couldn't all go. Tony has grown on me. Quite funny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,175 ✭✭✭Jeff2

I would have got sick ini if I was in the back of the truck because of the spinning. Very disorienting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,454 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

Tony's complaining is starting to annoy me though I think it might be just for the cameras

Marv and nick are probably my favourites. Could possibly see one of them go tonight

Josie burning herself to bits there!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,175 ✭✭✭Jeff2

Josie is getting a lot of air time even with out doing the trial tonight. A few times as well in the diary room aswell.

Edit: And now a easy trial.

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭Loyal Lady

Camaraderie in camp seems very good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,663 ✭✭✭prunudo

Wonder is she lagging behind on the voting the last few nights, maybe her swansong.

    Pin apple...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Atrocious spelling of pineapple by Josie and Nigel. But they got there in the end. 🍍

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Jeez, Sam is obsessed with Tony. The face he pulled while looking at Tony when he seen the chocolate biscuits. 😂

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,756 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Farage won't mention the Council of the European Union - where ministers from each member states vote on laws so national governments do get a say - along with the European Parliament as both have to pass a law, known as co-decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Mmm possum! Kinda like eating a giant rat. 🥴 First night without Fred to lend his advice.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

Also every country has to agree for it to pass, so if the UK didn't like the laws, then it simply wouldn't pass.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

    So many ads. Zzzzzzzz

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭Loyal Lady

    ah no

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,663 ✭✭✭prunudo

    Surprised by that.

    Also, another chef gone.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,733 ✭✭✭jluv

Awwwwwww! I liked Nick. Would have preferred Josie to go...

Disappointed that it wasn't Josie out tbh .

Nick was a good campmate .

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

How is Danielle still in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

I thought it might be Nick to go tonight. It's hard to call with a few of them though. It's probably between Marvin, Josie and Danielle to go tomorrow night I'd say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87,871 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

    I'm disappointed in that exit

They'll probably keep one female for the cyclone and final with both Josie and Danielle though undeserving imho

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭Loyal Lady

Nick is lovely. Also picking Sam for the win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Nick was a nice guy, but someone has to go. It's a good camp this year, apart from Nella, and maybe Grace, but she wasn't herself and was suffering.

Nick wants Sam to win as well, maintaining the 100% vote from evicted campmates.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,733 ✭✭✭jluv

Personally I'd like Tony, Marvin and Sam as final 3. But as long as Sam is there for cyclone. I think it would mean so much to him to do that.

Feck it..I'd love to spend 3 weeks there and then do cyclone 😁

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,035 ✭✭✭✭Mam of 4

I think Nigel could be out next . Then Marvin. Although I hope I'm wrong, as I honestly don't want either Josie or Danielle in the final.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,340 ✭✭✭Filmer Paradise

Had no idea who Nick was before this, but he seems an absolute gentleman.

I enjoyed that episode. seriously i adore Sam. he asked Josie permission could he climb on top her while she was on lio and i thought that was sweet. i have a bit of a crush. I'm sad Nick is gone, he's after growing on me in the last few days. why oh why is Nigel still there. ugh

Tony had me laughing during the trial, but i couldn't watch the boys spinning around. i would have vomited and nick looked close to doing so
