Beef Cull Cows Clare/Limerick

Ennis definitely, and preferably if pat Considine is selling. From what I see in for dry cows in ennis it's a competition of who can work for the least amount.

try Sixmilebridge , I got a good price for a cow few months back and she's not waiting all day to sell

We get a decent return out of Newport Mart. I know its not limerick or Clare but its as close to limerick/clare as youll get.

Newport seems to have lost a lot of cattle to SMB and even Ennis, very small sales this backend , a pity 'cos it was a grand spot to buy (or sell) but if buyers cant get a load they wont bother

I was in SMB on Saturday. Only one of the two rings going. It's still ticking over, but Ennis is huge compared to it. I always sell in Ennis even though SMB is closer.

I don't really know. I suppose every mart is different. If buyers have lorries full, they may stop bidding but apart from that, when cull cow prices are good, beef prices are good in general.
