I really like both those whiskies!

Someone gave me the end of a bottle of the JPS and while it isn't mind blowing, I went through what I had very quickly. A real easy sipper!

I'm not sure I'd trust The White Hag to approach this with a grown up palate after some of the beers they've produced over the years. Also, much as I often love sour beers, that berry Puca never appealed to me - always tasted more like an alcopop than a beer to me.

I can't help wishing that distilleries didn't do this.

I just think it panders to people who buy whiskey for reasons other than drinking it. It distorts the market. I'm just of the view that drink is for drinking, not collecting.

They make some nice beers, but some terrible ones too. But Black Boar is one of my favourite stouts. I thought about buying the bottle aged in those casks, but it's a bit of a steep price, with no indication of whether it's good or not.

I'm collecting mine from the Palace in Dublin.

It's a different drop so curious to see what it's like.

Anyone ever try Grace O'Malleys wonder should I give away as not a drinker, or keep for when someone fancies a drink..?

This has now been moved to end of Feb due to packaging issues. They seem to be going all out on the presentation.

I didn't know it was delayed. Could it actually be that they've had a slow uptake, and trying to sell more before official launch? I'm still seeing a lot of targeted advertising for it.

I've paid for 2 bottles so I would hope it's not a case of it being so bad they are delaying it and trying to mess with it.
