This fella is taking ages to tell his story.

I'd forgotten about Prize Bonds altogether

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

If I was in government I would make cheques incur a €450 fee to be cashed.

I've never won a single ¢ on Prize Bonds.

They certainly don't sound worth the hassle!

  • Try using State Savings site. It used to be easier but they send you in circles re resetting password, terribly buggy.

Man who didn't read the rules of prize bonds outraged that he hasn't got his €75 prize yet even though it's almost a whole WEEK since he won.

Joe fecking it up as usual.

As far as I can see, there's no individual prize of 1/2 million per month, that's the total in small prizes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

You mean the National Lottery that was last won over 3 months ago at this point and counting. There's probably been a handful(if even) of people that have won the Lotto Plus 1 and 2 draws in that same time.

Guaranteed, this lad's Brother with the same name as the dead dad got a new extension, new car, new teeth and a new pair of tits for the wife but this lad doesn't suspect anything.

This is not a smart subject for our Joe to tackle! Clearly he has only a vague idea about de prize bonds.

As for An Post and their new web based system for dealing with prize bonds and savings, it's an extraordinary thing to behold. Every other company can design a straightforward online registration system with 2 factor authentication. With An Post, it's like they've taken the old postal way of doing it and then replicated it online. So every step you take online to register also requires a letter to a place in Kerry. No wonder poor Pat is lost.

This is woeful radio - he's reading out the terms and conditions and barely making any point whatsoever.
