Can we go straight to the DmF blaming the ref post match interview….

Tom Stewart is good off the back of the maul but he holds onto it for too long sometimes, no awareness.

I was confused about that too.

    what’s the exact law?

Billy and Jacob won't want to re-watch that passage of play.

Butchering this many try scoring opportunities and mauls is the sign of a poorly coached team.

Oh dear, Ulster concede another break away try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

And there's the difference...Quinns arent even that good yet dont need 4-5 chances to score a try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

And all started from Ulster switching off from the tap and go just like the first one came from switching off for the quick throw in at the line out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,091 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Nah Baloucoune that's poor despite what the commentators are trying to say.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

And now the scrum has also gone to pieces. It genuinely makes me wonder what are the Ulster coaches paid to do as they struggler to do anything of note and tend to rely on x-factor from one or two players to save them.

State of Ulster. 3 really soft tries conceded.

  • Registered Users Posts: 635 ✭✭✭Ben Bailey

The has been a general lack of urgency in Ulster's play. Occasionally they switch on and perform, but only occasionally.

Third try, from another basic error, for 'Quins.

I'd be angrier about what happened with the communication at the ruck than balacounes error

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

This is some sort of joke right? To concede one of these tries is bad but to concede 3...

Marler punched Treadwell into the balls there no? Looked like a dirty punch but the commentators didn’t say anything, surprised the TMO didn’t look at it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 635 ✭✭✭Ben Bailey

Think it was a lower rib injury.

Marler, in fairness, stayed with Treadwell after the injury.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,324 ✭✭✭Locke_Lamora

Baloucoune and Stockdale with howlers, and Tom Stewart has been a coach killer in the opposition 22. Everyone's playing nervous and hectic now, scrambling passes and forcing things which put us under more pressure. It would be disappointing if it wasn't unsurprising.

Timoney playing well though, six nations call up has given him confidence.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,443 ✭✭✭launish116

    Absolutely embarrassing!

  • Registered Users Posts: 635 ✭✭✭Ben Bailey

Wouldn't say Ulster are out of it yet. 'Quins look poor in D.

Most disappointing aspect for Ulster is leadership. Enough senior players on field, including multi internationals, to keep players calm & focused.

Sure what does it matter if he pretended it was innocent and pointed to the ref, what a Samaritan, he delivered a dirty punch to the ribs, shocking he’s getting away with it

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

The best and most productive thing Ulster can do here now is forfeit the match and head on to the airport, they've clearly given up on the field so it's only fair the coaches put the players out of their misery.

Something rotten in the state of Ulster

Reminds me of Philadelphia Eagles collapsing this year in the NFL

Cant do the basics and have lost belief

However, The Eagles were good once

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭Shehal

I was just thinking the one thing Ulster havent done is thrown an intercept....

  • Registered Users Posts: 635 ✭✭✭Ben Bailey

Punch to the balls or punch to the ribs ?.

    I'm not a fan of Marler, but I'd didn’t see a punch.

    Stand up for the Ulstermen!😂

These players are an embarrassment, not fit to wear the shirt most of them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,091 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

There's a knock on there, but that try was blown a few phases earlier when Ulster failed to go wide when they had an overlap.

Ulster switched off again and weren't alert to the quick tap from Care.

Don't see how McFarland can improve this.
