Hi All

I was thinking of buying a Brooklyn mitre saw liked the design with its double bevel. Grateful for advice and views on this make. Thanks

Looks to me like the usual chinese stuff, tarted up with an American name to sound good. Nothing bad about them but not a premium brand.

If you like it and it does what you want then thats all you need but I think you could do better for the same money or less? I bought the Titan mitre saw from Screwfix in the summer for rough work and its a lot better than I expected - when set up (needs adjustment to get a perfectly square cut) its as good as any much more expensive mitre saw I've used.

Good value that. Although personally I think 210 is too small. I'd go up to 255mm at minimum. The Evolution ones are also a decent unit screwfix and amazon.

I do some largish stuff with it by agree 255mm would be nice. To get the full depth out of the Triton 210mm I had to take the rubber saw dust guide off the back of the machine. Only good thing is that 210mm blades can be got quite cheaply as Lidl do them regularly for their saws.
