Ignoring Andromeda as it was janky and written by idiots.

ME3 and the earlier ME/DA games had a bit of stuttering for the motion in general, which made the acting look stilted and it was a bit stilted even without that.

Dragon age inquisition I thought was a lot better in general from all of them, everything smooth and characters expressive and lines more naturally delivered.

ME3 was also 2012, and inquisition 2014 so a long while ago.

Thought ME2 and Dragon inquisition had much better companions in interaction and individual quests.

I feel act 3 is such a mess that it less enjoyable then the other two games.

I don't know how to post spoilers here so i'll try to be as vague as possible and HOPE you catch on to what boss I mean. I legit wasn't expecting the music that happened during a certain fight . It had me in stitches.

A boss fight I didn't mind failing and reloading several times because I knew I'd get to experience that again.

One of the GOAT boss fights.

Not only is the build up and score iconic, but it’s probably straight up the best fight in the game too. Really demands you understand the systems - including positioning - and take advantage of the few little twists the game gives you to turn the tables (including your NPC ally).

I found it to be one of the hardest too, as well as one of the best. I'm sure it's linked.

I'm 100 hrs in and have to say I'm finding Act 3 to be more and more of a slog. Wrapping up companion quests and other side quest before I head to end game. Two out of the last 3 big fights the enemy has been able to infinitely spam either invisibility or darkness spells and I end up having to resort to some cheesy unfun strat to try win. Stuck in a fight in a cloister now and its just zero fun.

Will try the fight again later, but nothing annoys me more in a game when you get close to max level and the dev runs out of ideas on how to Crank up difficulty and resort to enemies doing cheap crap to Crank up the difficulty in fights.

If the rest of the game wasn't so damn good I wouldn't be as disappointed, but Act 1 and 2 were far more enjoyable and it really highlights some shortcomings of Act 3 for me.

I sorry to say I gave up half way through Act 3 unfortunately.

Finally got to this encounter last night. Epic music and a great fight. Made up for some of the more frustrating encounters I've had so far in Act 3. Struggled a bit with it last night, lost the NPC during the fight too. Tried it again this morning and abused arcane acuity, tasha's hideous laughter and haste and was much more manageable.
