They should take it outside the US. Mexico seems to be the current consensus. They've already done promotion of the Mexico series with having the NASCAR Mexico race tie in with the Clash, and with Suarez not only winning the race but also being a big draw for them to expand south of the Rio Grande. There's also Brazil or Canada where they have NASCAR series'. They'd probably do any or all of them before Europe/Asia/Australia.

So it looks for all the world like it's going to be wetter than Galway in November for Sunday's Daytona 500. I feel like it will be moved to the Monday as some year recently. Thankfully I'm off for it, but it kind of sucks that it'll likely be rained out alltogether for Sunday, at least according to a few different weather models.

Good question. Out of the Groove is usually a good source of NASCAR news. Will definitely keep an eye on things.
